This is a website of C.Michael Smith, Ph.D., author of the book JUNG AND SHAMANISM IN DIALOGUE (Paulist Press 1997 / Trafford Books, 2007). A Jungian psychologist, medical anthropologist, shamanic healer and teacher, this website was original site exploring the interface between the analytical and depth psychology inspired by C.G. Jung's life and work, and cross-cultural shamanism as an amazing resource of human possibility, but much as been transfered to our new site www.crowsnestshamanism.com. The urgency of Mikkal's and the Crows nest Vision can be summed up:
